Rooted Thoughts' Beauty and Branding Workshop is a dynamic curriculum specifically
designed for salons and beauty professionals. Our goal in creating this series is to develop
well-rounded professional artists, not only in creative technique, but also in business and
negotiations.
The class starts with thought leader introductions, followed by a 2.5 hour technique intensive,
where Mitchell will demonstration + coach two hands on looks. His session will culminate in
30 minute Q & A.
Next, Jordan will lead stylists in a 2.5 hour brand bootcamp session, where he will break their
brands down, and build them back up with key strategies for success. Whether you tend to it
or not, everyone has a brand. In additional to creative + technical aspects of hair, stylists who
seek to thrive in the 21st century must also understand the business side of their brand as an
artist, since too many of us fall victim bad negotiations, bad contracts, and unfair profit
shares.
